About Our Products
"Handmade soap is one of life's little luxuries" -- Anonymous
is our most unusual, hard-to-find
soap. It is derived from a 19th century farmhouse recipe. A dozen yolks go into
each batch of 28 bars, creating a rich profusion of silky, nourishing lather. We add pure, unrefined shea butter as a moisturizer
and beeswax for a longer-lasting bar.
is made the old-fashioned way
in small batches using 100% milk from our own goats. Using milk instead
of water means that the soap contains more complex carbohydrates, fats and proteins,
producing creamy, smooth lather. We add pure, unrefined shea butter as a moisturizer
and beeswax for a longer-lasting bar.
is formulated for a specific purpose. It can be especially long-lasting or richly lathering or good for complexion problems. It can remove stains from your laundry or help wash away poison ivy juice. After all: soap can be more than just a bath or a shower thing.
are created especially for our friends who are sensitive to fragranced body products. We believe that fragrance is not an important ingredient in a product that is already top quality.
Lotions & Creams, Other Products
Once we started making soaps, we learned that lotions, creams and balms can
be made from materials we already had in stock. We also learned that making
these products is very straightforward if quality ingredients are used. We
never use mineral oil, drying alcohols or chemicals often found in commercial
products. You will notice the difference immediately.
